I just bought a bike and am looking at insurance, but don't know what all is required by the state.
Reply:
Motorcycle insurance laws in Arizona require the minimum liability limits of 15/30/10, in drugstore terms of thousands of dollars. Your insurance would cover up to $30,000 for all people injured in the motorcycle accident, subject to a limit of $15,000 for one person, and $10,000 for property damage.

i live in canada in in the country about 20 minutes from a city .its 8 months of winter here with icy roads .and in the summer there is rain season when it rains the roads get slick.. highways also have pot holes in them.. and people drive like A -holes if im driving 130 kms per hour i always gets some prick up my azz with the big dodge Diesel truck in my mirror so close i can see the snot up his nose. they seem to drive like that because they feel big. i little peanut head in a big truck. makes up for there balls. or the highway tractors.. they seem to go faster then average cars on skinny highways.. last week there was a biker that hit a pot hole and wiped out. after he cracked his head open on the highway a truck behind him ran him over.. then to top it off another truck from the other way ran over his head. talk about over kill
I live in So-Cal and use my bike all year: $80 insurance per year.
I also have a 57 Chevy step side in case I need it, insured as a classic: $277 per year.
I've never used the truck to tow my bike, and the truck seems permanently stuck to the battery tender.
And if I feel I really need a car? Well, that's what girlfriends are for.
He can get points on his liscence and I'm not sure he can have it taken away but I highly doubt it. The ticket will probably be pretty high up there, maybe not outrageous though.
