Harley Davidson Insurance -Typical Cost?

I am a 19-year old male who has been riding a motorcycle for about 3 years and took a rider safety course. I was wondering what possible insurance costs would be for a Harley 883 Sportster, probably a 98 or newer (probably nothing newer than a 2005 though). Specifically, I was wondering about American Family Insurance (but any general info would be appreciated too). I am looking to upgrade my bike (along with the size of my engine, ive been driving a 250 for a while now). I beleive american family cant even cover sport bikes for a rider like me, so i was thinking about getting another cruiser/standard style bike. i have kind of been drawn towards online pharmacies Harley, but if insurance is too expensive, ill have to look for something else. Does anyone have any other suggestions for bikes? or general info? thanks
And does anyone know if American Family considers the 500 Ninja a sport bike? I dont know if that bike would be my first choice, but i know there if one for sale around here...

Too many variables such as where you live, what your driving record is like, what type of coverage you're looking for, etc. Phone and surf around for different quotes. That will be the best way to find out which company is cheapest for you.

Not me, but I have a friend in California who is a cop and they pull people over because of what kind of car they drive all the time. I'm surprised yours was pulled over though. Based on what he told me, they look for old/dirty/junky cars. Cars that are missing hubcaps, busted taped over windows, etc. He says that typically these people don't get their cars fixed because they are spending their money on drugs and you can usually find drugs of some sort on them. He has about an 80% success rate when he pulls these cars over. I suppose it all depends on the cop but I really don't understand why they would have bothered you.

I am seriously considering the Wing as my next bike.
The 6-cyl makes for a smoother bike. The shaft drive is enclosed versus the belt (you can get a rock between the belt and pulley). Besides, the HD is air cooled; not a big deal unless your stuck in traffic. The Wing will out handle and outrun the UC.
