Well here in the uk, there is third party only, third party fire and theft and comprehensive.
third party only – covers only you and nothing else at all ( dirt cheap my motorbike insurance costs me 60 pounds a year on this cover )
third party fire and theft – name tells all, more expensive but worth having for anything worth a fair bit.
comprehensive – covers everything from you, to anything or anyone you damage in a crash and a lot more. but its the most expensive.
hope this helps.
